  • Reworking product designs to reduce potential for unintentional child access to hazardous components.
  • Evaluating product user interface and potential hazards for children, given developmental changes in reasoning ability as well as strength, dexterity and coordination.
  • Creating usage instructions for medical devices intended for the elderly.
  • Assessing elderly pedestrian behavior in response to auditory and visual cues to an approaching vehicle relative to age-related changes in perception, mobility and decision-making ability.
